Started Bachelor of computer application (BCA) in 2010.three year degree course to need of the students in order to help them build up bright career in the future. which is the need of the society at large.
In our SNDT Women’s University all the students of TY B.Com. in specialization subject computer. Whereas at T.Y.B.Com. level they have optional papers where they have to choose from papers in computer fundamentals, computerised accounting & business applications, computer hardware & maintenance.
Our college offers computer language as a compulsory subject to all the students B.A, B.COM, BMS, & BCA Degree courses and also MS-CIT, TALLY courses is available in BM Ruia college specially trained in computer. The department started the degree professional course BCA & BMM courses specially .The department offers following facilities to the students:-
our IT lab is used equipped with latest pcs (75+) projectors, networking&internet facilities to enable hands on experience of the concepts in IT.
the department is equipped with digital camera, web camera, mike, laptops,Lcds, for better learning environment using various audio-visual aids.
internet facility is available to the students whereby they can get information that is needed to prepare their projects & reports etc…

Book Publication:- computer related all subjects C, operating system, information technology, & other languages and cources were prepared and circulated free of cost to all the students of TY. BCOM, BCA, BMM by the department.The books were highly appreciated.
