  • Appointed as a member of the Syllabus Committee by the Board of Studies in English of Dr. Homi Bhabha State University, Mumbai, on 26th April, 2021 to draft the syllabus of the paper of “Drama and Theatre” in the Two-Year Master’s degree course of M. A. Honours with Research in English Language and Literature. The syllabus was to be in effect from the academic year 2021-22.

Symposia/Conferences/Seminars/Webinars Organised

  • Coordinated and organised A National Web Symposium on “Narrative in Literature and Cinema” in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell of B. M. Ruia Girls’ College on August 18th, 2020. Four eminent scholars together with Dr. Hrishikesh Ingle from English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad, Dr. Anil Sonawane from the University of Mumbai, Dr. Pandurang Barkale from S.N.D.T Women’s University, Mumbai, and Mr. Amol Jadhav, an Independent Filmmaker from Mumbai delivered their scholarly talks. 860 participants counting 06 from four countries like Algeria, Philippines, Iraq and Saudi Arabia and 854 participants from 27 states plus 04 Union territories of India from the 56 disciplines including Natural Sciences, Pure Sciences, Engineering, Humanities, etc. registered for the Symposium out of which 493 participants were issued an e-certificate.
  • Coordinated and organised A State Level Webinar on “Effective Communication Skills: A Key to Successful Career” on Tuesday, August 2, 2022. The Resource Person was Dr. Shriram Dongre, Assistant Professor, Department of English, Annasaheb Vartak College of Arts, Commerce, and Science, Vasai Road (W), Dist. Palghar, Maharashtra. More than 74 participants attended the webinar and obtained an e- certificate.
  • Coordinated and organised A National Level Workshop on “Shaping the World through Words: A Kaleidoscopic View of Content Writing in English” on Saturday, 24th February, 2024, from 5.00 pm onwards on google meet platform. 1 international participant from Russia and 69 national participants from 21 states of India attended the workshop. Overall, 70 participants attended the workshop and obtained an e-certificate.
  • Coordinated and organised A National Web Symposium on “Gender Perceptions in Media, Cinema and Literature” on Friday, March 8, 2024, at 11.00 am on google meet platform under the Women's Week Programme from 4th to 9th March, 2024. 1 international participant from Russia and 84 participants from 22 states of India attended the symposium. Overall, 85 participants attended the symposium and obtained an e-certificate.

a. Translations

  • Appointed as a Translator on February 1, 2023, by the Sahityaratna Anna Bhau Sathe Adhyasan Kendra, Sanskrut Bhavan, Kalina Campus, University of Mumbai to translate two literary texts by Anna Bhau Sathe from the Marathi into English. Translated two texts by Anna Bhau Sathe from Marathi into English consisting of a short story collection “Navati” and a novel Avadi. These translations are to be published by the Government of Maharashtra soon.
  • Translated Sahitya Akademi Winner Writer Rajan Gavas’ short story collection “Rivanavayali Mungi” into English as “An Distinct from Ant Mill”. This translation is under consideration of the publications houses like Penguin Random House, Harper Collins India, Speaking Tiger Books, and Open Letter Books, and Copper coin Publishers.
