Degree College Admission Policy

Admission is given Strictly on Merit

Eligibility conditions

Student seeking admission should fulfill the following criteria:

Std XII (HSC) or Equivalent examination from any recognized board with English as a compulsory subject for admission to B.Com and B.A/B.M.S./ B.C.A./B.M.M The Original certificates along with certified copies of the following have to be submitted at the time of admission:

  • Std XII (HSC) Mark sheet
  • College Leaving Certificate

Students from other states need to produce eligibility certificates from S. N. D. T. Women's University, Mumbai. The Students should note that unless the application is accompanied by provisional eligibility certificate, their admission cannot be assured. Their admission becomes complete only when the S. N. D.T. Women's University confirms the same after receiving Migration or Transfer Certificate from the respective boards/University+.H.S.C. passing certificate.

Admission Policy

Admission Policy regarding Minority and Reservation Quota in Degree College (Grant-in-aid & Non-Grant Programmes)

Admission to all Programmes are carried out strictly on Merit and as per the minority and reservation policy prescribed by the Government of Maharashtra. The institution has been granted the status of ‘Hindi Linguistic Minority Institute’ by the Government of Maharashtra. 50 % of the seats at entry level are reserved for Hindi speaking communities subject to the condition of their being domiciled in Maharashtra State.

The remaining seats will be filled from among the candidates from non-Hindi speaking students with due reservations for various categories viz. SC/ST/VJNT/OBC-SBC strictly on merit basis. Even Hindi speaking Minority students can apply for the general seats on merit basis if they fail to get seats in the stipulated Minority Quota. The number of seats sanctioned for Grant in aid and Non-Grant, UG and PG Programmes in Degree College along with the Minority Quota and other reservations are given below:

(i) In case the seats against Minority Quota remain vacant up to the stipulated date, the same will be converted into General seats, and filled from non-Hindi students on merit basis after re-fixing reservation quotas for respective categories after obtaining permission from the Government.

(ii) Further, and in case the rearranged reservation quota is not filled up to stipulated date, the vacant reservation quota will be converted into Open Category and the same will be filled on merit basis.
